Thalipeeth makes for a healthy, tasty and nutritious breakfast or snack. It is a spiced flat bread made from multigrain flour, onions and Indian spices.

*** I have used the Thalipeeth Mix flour of K-pra Foods. It has all the required spices.

Ingredients:

· Thalipeeth bhajani flour – 200gms

· Onions – 3 (finely chopped)

· Finely chopped coriander leaves – ½ cup

· Curd - 1 tbsp

· Water

· Oil for frying

Method:

· Take a bowl add the thalipeeth bhajani flour, finely chopped onions, coriander leaves and curd. Mix it with your fingers.

· Now add luke warm water and make a well mixed dough.

· Keep the dough aside for ½ an hour.

· Now divide the dough into 7-8 parts.

· Take a damp muslin cloth and shape the dough into a round shape using your fingers.

· Dip your fingers in water and spread the thalipeeth.

· You can also make some holes on the thalipeeth. (optional)

· Heat up a pan on medium heat. Spread a little oil on it.

· Lift the cloth and transfer it on the pan. Spread some oil on and around the thalipeeth.

· Cover and cook thalipeeth for about 2-3 minutes.

· After about 2 minutes of cooking remove the lid and let the thalipeeth cook for another 3-4 minutes.

· Again, flip the thalipeeth over and cook for another side for about 3-4 minutes on medium heat.

· When thalipeeth is roasted well from both the sides take it off.

· Bhajaniche thalipeeth is already to be served. You can serve with curd or pickle or chutney or fresh homemade butter.
