STUFFED POMFRET FRY

Pomfret fish stuffed with coarsely grounded coconut coriander spicy chutney and tava fried.

Ingredients:

· Medium/Large Pomfret - 1

· Red Chilli Powder – 1tsp

· Turmeric Powder - 1 cup

· Lemon Juice – ½ tsp

· Fresh grated Coconut - ½ cup

· Fresh Coriander Leaves

· Green Chillies – 5-6

· Garlic – 7-8 Cloves

· Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp

· Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp

· Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

· Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp

· Salt

· Water

· Oil for frying

· Semolina (rava) for frying


Method:

· Take a medium/large pomfret, clean and wash it well and dry it properly with a tissue and create a pocket in the fish on both the sides.

· Now marinate the fish with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt. Rub it nicely throughout the fish. Keep it aside.

· Take freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, garlic cloves, lemon juice, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt and water in a grinder and make a thick coarse paste. Do not add too much of water. You can increase and decrease the chillies as per your preference.

· Now fill both the pockets of the fish with the masala.

· Take semolina (rava) in a plate and coat the stuffed fish nicely.

· Heat oil in a Pan, and put the stuffed pomfret on it. Fry it properly and gently on both the sides.

· Once cooked stuffed pomfret fry is ready to be served.
