RAVA DOSA

Crispy Rava Dosa for breakfast from my food studio I personally feel the word PATIENCE is a must factor for this Dosa, if you wish to enjoy the crunchy ones. Just served with coconut chutney.


Ingredients:

· Rava (semolina) - 1 cup

· Rice flour - 1 cup

· Maida (Refined flour) – ½ cup

· Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp

· Jeera (cumin seeds) – 2 tsp

· Curd - 2 tbsp

· Salt to taste

· Water - 4 cups

· Onions - 1 cup (chopped)

· Ginger -2 tsp (chopped)

· Green chillies - 2 tbsp (chopped)

· Curry leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)

· Water 4 cups

· Coriander leaves

· Oil


Method:

· Take a large bowl add rava, rice flour, maida, pepper, jeera, curd, salt and water, whisk it well.

· Add chopped onions, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and water, again mix well. The batter should be of a flowing consistency.

· Let the batter rest for 20-30 mins.

· Heat a tawa and pour the batter, pour little oil over it, cook the dosa until crisp and golden brown.

· Serve the dosas hot and crispy with coconut chutney or sambar of your choice.
