Creamy, cheesy pasta recipe which is packed with veggies, makes a cozy comforting meal. It
is all time favorite one that is loved by all age groups.
Ingredients:
For Boiling Pasta
· Pasta 200 gms (any shape)
· Water
· Salt
· Oil 1 tsp + 1 tsp (to drizzle on the cooked pasta)
For Red Sauce Pasta
· Olive oil/Oil - 1 tbsp
· Butter – 1 tbsp
· All-purpose flour – 1 tbsp
· Milk – 1 cup
· Garlic - 5-6 cloves (chopped)
· Onions - 1 medium size (optional)
· Broccoli florets blanched– 1/3 cup (optional)
· Mushroom – 1/3 cup (optional)
· Sweet corn boiled – ¼ cup (optional)
· Coloured Peppers – 1/3 cup (optional)
· Basil leaves
· Oregano - 1 tsp
· Red chilli flakes - 1 tsp
· Black pepper - ¼ tsp
· Mozzarella Cheese
· Salt
Method:
For boiling pasta
· Set the water for boiling, add salt and 1 tsp oil, when the water comes to a boil, add the pasta and cook for 6-8 minutes or until al dente. Cooking time may depend upon the pasta you are using.
· Immediately strain the pasta and drizzle 1 tsp oil, toss well and keep it aside.
For White Sauce Pasta
· Set a sauce pan on low heat, add olive oil & butter, add chopped garlic & onion, cook until it starts to get some colour.
· Now add the flour and cook stirring for a minute or two. Slowly start adding milk while stirring continuously till the sauce starts to thicken. Simmer for two minutes.
· Add other veggies of your choice, add basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes, black pepper and give a good mix. Cook for 2-3 minutes. If required add little milk.
· Now add the cooked pasta and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
· Grate generous amount of cheese to make it more yum.
· Your white sauce pasta is ready to be served hot.
