MILAGAI PODI RICE (Chutney Powder Rice/ Gunpowder Rice)

Updated: Jul 28, 2023

This flavorful one pot rice meal is prepared using South Indian Chutney powder also known as milagai podi, gun powder, idli podi, dosa podi, milagai podi etc. Works out as good lunch box option for both kids and adults and can be prepared with fresh or leftover rice in under 15-20 mins. Do give it a try😊💞 Have used the chutney powder from @mtr_foods . My favourite brand when it comes to any South Indian varieties. I have served with appe medi pickle and green chana bhaji with a touch of grated coconut 🥥.
