JAMUN (Java Plum) JUICE

Jamun juice is a refreshing summer drink and has an amazing taste with various health benefits. This is a great drink to cool yourself from the scorching heat. Not just the taste is scrumptious but the color of this drink makes it even more eye-pleasing.

Ingredients:

· Fresh Jamun (Java plum) – 250 gms (deseeded)

· Sugar – ½ cup (adjust as per your preference)

· Black salt – ¼ tsp

· Chaat masala – ¼ tsp

· Mint leaves – handful

· Lemon juice of one lemon

· Salt

· Crushed Ice

Method:

· Wash the jamun nicely and deseed it.

· Take a mixer jar add deseeded jamuns, sugar, black salt, chaat masala, lemon juice, salt and little crushed ice. Blend it, and now add mint leaves and blend it again.

· The consistency of the mixture will be very thick and pulpy.

· You can store this in a glass jar for 4-5 days and use it whenever required.

· To serve the juice you can rub the lemon juice to the rim of the glass and then dip the rim in a plate that has salt in it.

· Now, add the pulpy jamun mixture in the glass. You can add water to adjust the consistency.

· Decorate it with mint leaves and serve this refreshing summer drink.
