GRILLED CHICKEN

Was missing continental cuisine too much, so it's Grilled chicken marinated with herbs & chili flakes, Served with Parsley flavored rice & Stir fried veggies.


Ingredients:

For Grilled Chicken

· Chicken Breast (boneless) – 500 gms

· Olive Oil – ¼ cup

· Garlic Cloves – 7-8

· Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp

· Oregano - 1 tsp

· Rosemary – 1 tsp

· Thyme leaves – 1 tsp each

· Whole Grain Mustard - 1 tsp

· Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp

· Lemon Juice – 1 lemon

· Salt

· Parsley Leaves – ¼ cup

Method:

For Grilled Chicken

· Firstly, flatten out the chicken breast piece with the hammer to make them completely flat. Or use a knife to slit and make it thin.

· For making the marinate for the chicken. Add olive oil, garlic Cloves, chilli Flakes, oregano, rosemary, thyme, whole grain mustard, black pepper powder, salt, lemon juice. Grind them all together for a bit, then add Parsley Leaves. Grind them again for about 10 seconds till they mix well.

· Now marinate the chicken pieces with the above mixture and finally cover them up and set it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 2 hrs for marination. This will make the chicken more tender and juicier.

· Set a grilled pan on medium heat and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side, till it is completely cooked.

· Serve it hot with stir fried veggies or Parsley rice.
