Garlic sauteed mushroom is a very delicious recipe made with minimal ingredients and is full of flavor. Goes extremely well with Chapatis and Phulkas. Makes a healthy breakfast or tiffin option too.
Ingredients:
For Sauteing:
· Oil – 1.5 tbsp
· Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
· Garlic – 12-15 cloves
· Green chilli - 1 slit
· Coriander leaves – handful
· Onions – 2 medium (finely chopped)
· Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp (optional)
· Mushroom – 2 packets
· Salt
· Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Method:
· Take a mortar and pestle, add garlic and coriander leaves. Pound both the ingredients together. Set it aside for later use.
· Take a kadai with oil in it, add the chopped onions along with asafoetida. Fry it for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
· Now add the pounded garlic and coriander mixtute and slit green chilli to the onion. Add turmeric powder. Sauté it on high flame for 1-2 minutes.
· Now add the chopped mushrooms, give it a good mix. Add salt, mix well.
· Sauté on high flame till the water evaporates. Turn off the flame.
· Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot with chapati or Phulka.
