CHATPATA PARA BITES

These para bites are a perfect tea time snacks to munch on when we are craving for something chatpata. During the festive season along with sweet delicacies this is a lip smacking snack that is relished with the family.

Yeah, Dil Maange more types…….!!!


Ingredients:

· All-purpose flour – 250 gm

· MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic – 1 sachet

· Carom seeds – 1 tsp

· Crushed Black pepper – ½ tsp

· Hot oil – 2 tbsp

· Salt to taste

· Water for kneading

· Oil for frying



Method:

· Take a mixing bowl add maida, MAGGI Masala-ae-magic, carom seeds, crushed black pepper, hot oil and salt.

· Rub the oil nicely to the flour mixture with your hands.

· Now start adding water and make a semi hard dough. Let it rest for 10 mins.

· Now take one ball from the dough, knead it well. And start rolling it.

· Try to roll it as thin as possible. Use a karanji cutter and cut it into small diamond shape.

· Use a flat spatula to separate the cut tiny para and place them in a plate.

· Heat oil in a deep pan.

· Once the oil heats up, drop handful of tiny para in hot oil and turn the flame to medium. Once they turn golden brown on both sides, take them out with a slotted spoon.

· Put it on a big strainer, this will help to get rid of the excess oil.

· Allow the para to completely cool. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.

· Enjoy these tiny para bites with hot tea.
