Besan ladoo is one of the most popular mithai in Indian cuisine. It is a delicious sweet ball made with gram flour, sugar, ghee & cardamoms. Diwali is incomplete without this sweet.

Ingredients:
· Thick Besan (gram flour) – 500 gm
· Ghee – 250 gm approx..
· Tagar (sugar) – 400 gm
· Cardamom powder
· Almonds & Pista chopped - a handful (optional)
Method:
· Take a thick bottomed pan. Add gram flour.
· Roast the flour on low to medium heat. Stir continuously or besan may stick to the pan and may burn.
· Start adding ghee in intervals.
· Roast the besan until it turns deep golden, and aromatic. Turn off the flame.
· Transfer the roasted besan into a big bowl and let it cool down a little.
· Now add Tagar, cardamom powder to the roasted besan and mix well.
· Start making ladoos. Garnish with cashew and roll again.
